It has been a while I saw a butterfly fish at Fort Wetherill and this little guy was actually hiding right by the ramp, just below the intertidal zone. I remember in the past these guys would be the most prevalent tropical visitors.
I was happily surprised in this dive that I could find two different seahorses. After not being able to find any for the whole season, last week I found one and this week I could find two, suggesting that they are back from where ever they were. The second one was in the middle of the sandy desert in the middle of the cove, attached to a loose seaweed. It barely had any place to hide, so we abused the opportunity and got many shots out of it.
