Beginning of the day I didn’t know I was going to dive in the evening. My buddy, that I never met, said he is going to Fort Wetherill, anyway, and I didn’t have set plans for the evening. So why not hit the road?
Even though through out the drive it was raining at the site it was still dry, the cloud allowed me to get ready peacefully and waited for us to touch the water.
The visibility was not horrible but made you try really hard not to lose your buddy. I mostly saw the regulars for this site, except the tropicals and squid. I am glad that, despite the poor vis we could find two seahorses for my buddy, who had never been to this site before. As a nice surprise, as this site always delivers, I got to see the little shy box crab. After bothering this little thing with my bright flashes it gave me an “ok” sign and I let it be 🙂
As we were coming out we realized that it was pouring all along and there were lightnings. Glad that we didn’t get toast as we left the water. With the heavy rain at least our gear got rinsed 🙂
